Wilkes County Farmers Market is holding its annual pumpkin patch from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. We will be there with pumpkin-themed recipe samples!

December 3 is national FCS day, on this day all Americans are encouraged to “Dine In” with family or friends. In preparation for this day, we will hold a workshop to help you celebrate dining in. Featuring simple freezer meals and tips for family mealtime.

Create homemade treats for your loved ones just in time for a holiday gift. Bring a friend for a fun evening out! *More information to follow*

Faithful Families is a program designed for faith communities to help them eat smart, move more, and prevent chronic disease. Faithful Families believes communities of faith are important advocates for health physically, mentally, and spiritually. If you have a faith community in mind who would be interested in the program contact Courtney for more information.

We will be returning to North Wilkes Middle in October to continue working with the YMCA after school program. Check out our Facebook for what the kids are doing.
The Color Me Healthy kindergarten program will begin again in November at C.B. Eller Elementary. Students will learn about food and physical activity through color, music, and taste tests.
