The March 25-26, 2020, Pesticide School that was scheduled to be held in Shelby, NC has been canceled until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please see the note from N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services below:
Upcoming Pesticide School Cancellation Statement
Dear Pesticide School registrant:
Due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus and state-mandated restrictions on public meetings, the Pesticide Schools in Pittsboro (March 18-19), Shelby (March 25-26), Manteo (April 1-2), and Mill’s River (April 7-8) have been canceled. All exams at each of these sites have been canceled, as well.
You will be issued a refund to your credit card account of your registration fee ($27 for Private Applicator and $47 for Commercial applicator) through our online system as soon as possible.
Please study your manual(s) in preparation for taking the Core, Private Applicator and Category exams. Log on to the NCDA&CS website for information about taking certification exams.
At this time, the Pesticide Schools scheduled from April 14 will be conducted as planned. Please visit the Pesticide Safety Education website if you want to re-register for another School.
We are sorry for the inconvenience these cancelations may cause. It is being done in the best interest of your health and the well being of all North Carolinians. Thank you for your interest in our programs. We hope that we can see you at another venue.
