Our Community Conversation event is coming up soon on October 22, 2020, at 6:30 p.m.
Our panelist for this event will include youth and adult community leaders.
Our adult panelists include:
  • Chief Jeff Ledford: He has been a member of the Shelby Police Department for over 25 years. He was appointed as the Chief of Police in 2008.
  • Charles Webber: He currently serves as the Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church, and a member of the Shelby City Council. He is retired from his role as Public Human Resources Director.
  • Rodney Borders: He is the Executive Director of Administrative Services for Cleveland County Schools. During his tenure with Cleveland County Schools, he also served as principal at Turning Point Academy and assistant principal at Shelby High School.
  • Heather Bridges Moore: She is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Communities in Schools of Cleveland County.
  • Bruce Mack: He is the Vice President of Economic and Workforce Development at Cleveland Community College.
