In this two hour class we will answer the most common questions that come into the extension office. 1 What kind of grass do I have in my yard? You need to know what species of grass you are growing if you are going to safely answer the next two questions. 2 What are these weeds in my lawn? 3 How do I control these weeds? 4 What is killing my grass?
If you would like to bring in some samples to be identified, feel free to do so. Grass samples should include some soil and roots. Weed samples should also include the roots as well as leaves and flowers, if present. You may also want to bring a tablet or smart phone with internet access as this may help you walk through the steps for identification.
