If you have ever wondered what is wrong with your plants, where the holes in the leaves came from, what those funny red bumps on the leaves are or why the plant just doesn't look healthy, this may be the workshop for you.
In this workshop we will learn:
1. Effectively use a 10 step strategy to diagnose plant problems.
2. List 3 normal plant characteristics commonly misidentified as plant problems.
3. Describe 5 common distributions of plant damage and identify potential causes for each.
4. List 3 common criteria you can use to separate biotic and abiotic problems.
We will do some practical activities to use some of the new skills we have learned. Magnifying glasses and possibly a microscope will be used to look at possible problems and identify signs and symptoms of plant problems.
Where: Room 306
Please pre-register and pay for this class by Thursday, February 11.
