N.C. Cooperative Extension, WNC AgOptions.Cleveland County farmers will soon be eligible to apply for a new round of grant funding to help them expand or diversify their operations. Funded by the N.C. Tobacco Trust Fund Commission, the WNC Agricultural Options Program builds sustainable farming communities by providing $4,000 and $8,000 grants directly to farmers.

Those interested in developing a grant proposal are encouraged to attend an information session, scheduled for Monday, October 10, 2022
from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. It will be held in the auditorium of the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Cleveland County Center, located at 130 S. Post Road, Suite 1, Shelby, NC  28152.
