If you have been thinking about raising honeybees, consider registering for the 2025 Beginning Beekeepers School being offered by the Cleveland County Beekeepers Association. The school is designed to help new and aspiring beekeepers get started on the right foot.
Class Dates:
Saturday, January 25 and Saturday, February 1 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (different material is presented each day, so please plan to attend both classes).

Cost:
$75/person
$120/pair (sharing textbook and educational materials)
Class includes the following:
- thorough basic beekeeping information
- textbook
- hands-on activities
- pairing with an experienced mentor if you are interested
- access to field days in March and April to become more comfortable with bees and our honey harvesting training in July
- 2025 membership in the Cleveland County Beekeepers Association and the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association
