At this class you will learn the basics of starting seeds indoors for transplanting into your garden in the Spring.

What will I learn in this class?
At this class you will learn how to get your seeds growing indoors to prepare healthy seedlings for transplant into your garden as soon as the growing season begins. You will learn about proper growing conditions for your seedlings, proper starting media for seed germination, considerations for variety selection for your vegetables, and much more!
What will I come away with from this class?
Each attendee will prepare a reusable 12 seedling flat complete with soil and vegetable seeds that they can take home and cultivate indoors until the seedlings are ready for transplanting outdoors. Most importantly, attendees will come away with the knowledge and confidence to begin starting their seeds indoors for growing in their vegetable garden in the Spring.
Will I get dirty in this class?
Yes! We will be filling flats with soil and planting seeds by hand. Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
